This is my 3rd
year sweating

I’m sweating to celebrate and uplift my Rainbow whānau

I raised $2,235
last year

Why I’m Sweating with Pride

I'm taking on Sweat with Pride this June! πŸ’¦πŸŒˆ

Right now, schools, workplaces, and even doctors’ offices aren’t safe for many in our communityβ€”and it’s putting lives at risk. LGBTQIA+ Kiwis face higher rates of mental illness, suicide, and STIs like syphilis, mpox, and HIV.

So, I'm fighting discrimination with perspirationβ€”exercising 60 minutes every day in June to raise money for life-changing Rainbow support services.

This cause means the world to me, and I’d be SO grateful if you could chip in to help me reach my goal. Every dollar makes a difference.

Thank you so much for your support! ❀️

Day 4: 15,500 steps!

Unfortunately my back is still very painful so I stuck with cardio today. Took a power walk at lunchtime & then an incline power walk on the treadmill tonight followed by some foam rolling. Hopefully can hit the weights again soon!

Day 3: Night walk

Wednesday 3 June 2026

My old back injury is playing up & causing all sorts of havoc today so decided a power walk was the best option for Day 3. Forgot to take a pic for evidence!

Day 2: Gym sesh

Tuesday 2 June 2026

Had acupuncture for my back today so a bit woozy - but still managed a solid lower body sesh tonight πŸ’ͺ
