Why we’re Sweating with Pride

Kia ora!

The NZEI Te Riu Roa Rainbow Network is taking on Sweat with Pride! As members of NZEI Te Riu Roa who belong to the rainbow community (or are just fabulous allies!), we will be committed to exercising this June (International Pride Month) to raise awareness and money to support our rainbow community.

Every dollar raised through Sweat with Pride will go to the Burnett Foundation Aotearoa and fund projects in partnership with RainbowYOUTH, OutLine, and InsideOUT to improve the mental and physical health of Rainbow communities in Aotearoa. As educators, we have worked with RainbowYOUTH and InsideOUT to advocate for the rights of tamariki and whānau.
