We're rolling intoΒ Sweat with PrideΒ this June! π¦ππΉRight now, too many in our rainbow community donβt feel safe - not in schools, not at work, and sometimes not even with their own doctors. That lack of safety comes at a cost: LGBTTQIA+ Kiwis are facing higher rates of mental illness, suicide, and preventable infections like syphilis, mpox, and HIV.
So, our crew, the Gayters π are committing to 21+ minutes of skatingΒ every single dayΒ in June to raise funds for the vital services our community needs to thrive. π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ
We believe skating is for everyone! Whether you're looking to move your body, learn new tricks, or make new friends, the skate community can be a safe and empowering space for LGBTTQIA+ and weβd love to welcome you to roll with us and experience the joy and freedom skating brings! ππ
