Oh, darling, buckle up for the drama! Picture this: I was out gallivanting along the breathtaking Godley Head trail, soaking up the scenery, living my best adventurer fantasy with my dear friend Talyah—sweating for a good cause, obviously—when, plot twist! I had a seizure. But not just any seizure, my first ever seizure. A debut performance, if you will. Iconic? Maybe. Ideal? Not quite. Now, let’s give credit where it’s due—I did manage to clock my precious minutes before completely seizing the stage (and, well, the rest of my body). So, silver linings! As you can tell from this stunning hospital aesthetic, I ended up getting checked out. All is well, but I have been prescribed a "take it easy" vibe for the next few days. This means my usual hour of glorious physical activity is getting a remix. Instead of conquering hills and seeking adventure, my fitness routine will be taking a chic turn—pottering around the house, tidying up like a domestic goddess, and breaking my efforts into smaller, more refined chunks. Fear not, the show must go on—just with a little more caution and a lot more flair!

Why I’m Sweating with Pride
I'm back for my third year of Sweat with Pride! 💦🌈 And this time, I'm determined to make an even bigger impact—more movement, more sweat, and more funds raised for life-changing Rainbow support services.
Every year, I take on this challenge because the reality for LGBTQIA+ Kiwis is heartbreaking. Schools, workplaces, and even doctors’ offices remain unsafe for many in our community, leading to higher rates of mental illness, suicide, and preventable illnesses like syphilis, mpox, and HIV. That’s why I’m showing up every single day in June, pushing myself harder than ever. At least 30 minutes of exercise daily? Absolutely. Aiming for 60 minutes or more? No excuses.
This isn't just about fitness—it's about fighting discrimination, standing up for our community, and funding the vital services that save lives. Every drop of sweat is for something bigger, and I'd love your support to help me raise more than ever before. Every dollar truly makes a difference.

🌈✨ Sweat with Pride 2025 is officially in full swing, and honey, I am living for it! To kick off week two, I traded my glitter for grit and joined the fabulous team at Iron Knight Gaming in Rangiora for a grand transformation—think full-blown makeover, but for their store! 💃💖 We dismantled their old space with all the drama of a Broadway finale and then brought their new store to life with the enthusiasm of a pride parade on steroids! It was a whirlwind of lifting, shifting, and serving up some serious muscle realness. And let’s not forget—it felt absolutely fabulous getting my workout in while supporting an iconic local business. Sweat, strength, and a whole lot of pride—what more could you ask for?
