This month I've spent 1911 minutes (that's 31.85 hours) sweating; walking 100 kms, cycled 234, planted a whole bunch of trees (unfortunately I didn't count those), and raised $1250, smashing my original goal of 1050 which was already more than I raised last year. And I couldn't have done it without the support of all of you! So thanks so much to everyone who has supported me in this, whether in helping me get around, liking and sharing posts, or donating. π«Άπ» But we can still do more! The challenge runs until midnight tomorrow, though I do plan on doing an extra day on Wednesday to make up for missing the 1st of June. In the meantime, there will be another Dollar Match Day, tomorrow from 8am! If you've been meaning to donate and haven't gotten around to it for whatever reason, that will be the time. That's 13 hours from now, for those not in NZ. Remember that as before, it's important to get in quick, as the matching fund is not unlimited and once it's gone it's over. Our team, Glittering Green Gains, are currently sitting at second on the friends and family fundraising leaderboard, with $3918 out of our $5000 goal. I would love and do appreciate it if we were able to smash that! You don't even need to donate to me specifically, any of my wonderful teammates would I'm sure also appreciate donations, especially those who haven't reached their goals yet. You can find them on the team page linked on my profile. Thanks so much, again, to everyone who has supported me in this. Appreciate you all. π₯°π

Why Iβm Sweating with Pride
I'm taking on Sweat with Pride again this June! π¦π
The support that these organisations provide to our community is so important, and I'm here once again to do my part to help make sure that kaupapa can continue.Β
It's tough out there right now, and the queer community is disproportionately impacted β particularly rangatahi and tamariki, and particularly trans and takatΔpui whΔnau β making your support more crucial than ever.Β
This cause is very dear to my heart, and I believe that finding our light and coming together to look after one another is so important. Our love and solidarity can beat the hate. π πΒ
And why not have some fun and get some exercise doing it?! β¨ π¦Β
My goal is to beat my total last year of $1,041 raised, and I'm shooting for 60+ minutes of moderate-high intensity exercise every day in June. I'd love it so much if you could consider helping me get there. π«Άπ»Β
Thank you so much for your all support. π₯°Β
Ps. I'm doing this without the aid of being on Facebook this time around, so anything you can do to share and signal boost is so so appreciated π«°π»Β

I was planning on doing these updates weekly, but c'est la vie. I've now: * Biked 157.69km π΄ββοΈ * Walked 55.27km πΆββοΈ * Helped organise a protest against the gender definition bill, that was fun! Thanks everyone who came out and showed your support! π«°π» (pic related, is me speaking over the weekend) * Logged 1145 minutes of sweat! π¦ * Raised $775 for life-changing rainbow support services π³οΈβπ * Still no blisters babeyy π Thank you so much to all my donors, I couldn't do this without all of your support. It means so much and I'm proud of what we've been able to achieve so far, and our solidarity is so important at times like this. We can beat the hate. No particular call to action here, but if you think all this work and all these hours is worth something, I'd really a appreciate if you'd be willing to chip in just a little, whatever you think that you can afford. Thanks so much. ~Arohanui, Erin. π

I have one more thing to ask of you.
Tomorrow is double dollar day, when all donations will be doubled from 8am until whenever the pot runs out - when it's gone it's gone. I hope that you'll consider sharing and boosting this post to help me to reach as many people as possible to make the most of it! I've been working really hard on this and I hope that you'll consider my effort and sweat worth a small donation, however much you can afford.
