Why I’m Sweating with Pride
Kia ora team,
I'm excercising 30+mins a day this June to raise funds for a cause very dear to my heart.
Growing up gay has it's many challanges - and though I am one of the lucky ones with a beautiful and supportive family, I still struggled growing up, and continue to be affected in the current climate.
Over half of rainbow youth suffer with mental illness, and 1 in 5 have attempted suicide. Not to mention, here in Aotearoa LGBTQ+ folk face higher rates of STIs like syphilis, mpox, and HIV.
Your generousity and support mean the world to me and make a real, tangible, difference in the lives of many of our fellow Kiwi's.
