Holy guacamole, we are eight days away from Sweat with Pride (I'm making it an 8 week challenge so starting in May) and you amazing humans have already donated $800 of my $1000 fundraising goal!!!
That's $800 toward projects that provide essential physical, mental and sexual health services for Rainbow* New Zealanders. If you've donated, I hope you gave yourself a hug and felt super proud of yourself for doing such a good thing - if you haven't donated, there's still time to do a good thing!
In fact, if someone donates $11.50 for each day of my 8 week challenge, we'll raise $1500! Crazy!

Why I’m Sweating with Pride
I'm challenging myself to Sweat with Pride this June (and May, because go hard or go home right?) 💦🌈
That's right, me and the couch are breaking up.
I'm even upping the daily exercise goal from 21 minutes to 42 minutes, for May AND June. That's twice the exercise, for twice as many days.
Why you ask? (I'm asking myself that too 😅)
Because right now, schools, workplaces, and even doctors’ offices aren’t safe for many in our beautiful rainbow community—and it’s putting lives at risk. LGBTQIA+ Kiwis face higher rates of mental illness, suicide, and STIs like syphilis, mpox, and HIV.
So, I'm fighting discrimination with perspiration to raise money for life-changing Rainbow support services - and I need your help! Twice the exercise for twice as long means twice the motivation for you to donate, because I'll need all the motivation I can get.
(If you donate enough I'll even let you set workout challenges for me, because you deserve some entertainment in return for your good deed).
This cause means the world to me and my community, and I’d be SO grateful if you could chip in to help me reach my $1000 goal. Every dollar makes a difference, and you get to feel like a super cool awesome person (it's also tax deductible).
