Why I’m Sweating with Pride
I'm taking on Sweat with Pride this June! 💦🌈
Right now, schools, workplaces, and even doctors’ offices aren’t safe for many in our community—and it’s putting lives at risk. LGBTQIA+ Kiwis face higher rates of mental illness, suicide, and STIs like syphilis, mpox, and HIV.
So, I'm fighting discrimination with perspiration—exercising 21 minutes every day in June to raise money for life-changing Rainbow support services.
This cause means the world to me, and I’d be SO grateful if you could chip in to help me reach my goal. Every dollar makes a difference.

I went for a walk

Went to the gym and listened to a lovely dorky podcast 🌈 🏳️🌈
Did another bedroom body weight workout. Thanks for the support! Rainbows are everywhere ❤️ 🌈 so humbled by all the support for our rainbow organisations who really need it!

Got changed into my gym gear before Bobbie’s bedtime stories so that I would have to work out. Did a 21min thing made up of abs legs arms body weight. Thanks so much everyone. 🌈 ❤️
This morning I walked/jogged Bobbie to school while she rode her bike. 🌈
This morning I used a couple YouTube videos for inspiration a 5 min warm up followed by 15 min weights. Heaps of free resources out there! Thanks for the support x

Walked around the neighbourhood: )

We bought some weights a while back so putting them to use. Stuff I did: Bench press, Press ups, Star jumps, Ice skaters, Kettle bell swings, Step ups, Tricep dips
