Pewter sky, deep winter chill: and a lot of noisy kākā flying overhead at the end of the day. Lovely evening walk to complete my 30 days.
Why I’m Sweating with Pride
I'm taking on Sweat with Pride this June! 💦🌈
Every person in Aotearoa deserves to live with dignity, respect and safety.

This cause means the world to me, and I’d be SO grateful if you could chip in to help me reach my goal. Every dollar makes a difference.
Thank you so much for your support! ❤️

This diva is almost done: 42 minutes of sweating with pride every day in June, and over $1000 raised. Thanks so much everyone!
Yoga at home: always a fan of Jason Crandell's classes.

Wet, wild, walking in Wellington.

Getting out amongst the bluster: and stoked to have made it to $1000 raised. Huge thanks to all those supporters: you rock!

Still feeling the injury but felt more solid walking up and down and around between work and a strategically parked car that enabled me to clock up my 42 minutes. A day for noticing the small things of beauty in amongst the wreckage.
Almost lost my streak today (!) but managed a slow yin yoga session at the very end of the day.

Feeling a jumble of aches and pains today but yoga always helps me to untangle myself and soften the edges.

Chilly day in the city but took an hour's urban walk along the waterfront: no stingrays basking by the boat sheds.
Coastal walk with my good friend Lizzie: she says 7000 steps!

Identical hilly commuting walks from car to work (20 mins each way) and back again. Felt quite gothic this evening: all gloomy swirling clouds and shaking trees: not as peaceful as it looks in the pic!
Still sorting out the muscle strain so today was an hour's cleaning: good motivation for getting stuck in to some rather neglected corners of the house!!
Slow and not v sweaty walk to work and back: parked 20 min away, so got my 42 minutes in.
Pulled a muscle yesterday (oh no!) so household chores today and hope to be more mobile soon.

Climbing at hangdog: thanks to KM and MA for the great company :-)

Home yoga and a visit to the beautiful sauna (incl. ocean dips): plenty of sweating!

Back at the wall again - very fun. Thanks to Nina and Anya for the encouragement,

So wet out there, so a slow winter yoga flow this evening: love child's pose.

Tools of the trade for today's activities: biking to and from work (those hills never get any flatter!) and a wee spot of bouldering on the way.
No pics: freeeezing commute into work and back on the bike - made for some good chats at the traffic lights with fellow commuters: no sweating today but plenty of shivering. 35 minutes each way.
No pics: 4 hours or so of domestic mahi: composting, cleaning, cooking etc. Sunday vibes.

Still freezing, so yoga in woollens.

No guesses for todays' activity. Walking back from work in the dark, wind and rain. Brrrrr.
No pics today but 30 minutes of urban hill-walking and another session at the climbing wall: thanks to Anya and Kelly for the company.

Rainy day yoga: upside down sweating.

Today was a hilly urban walk with flying rubbish bins and a missed bus challenge: a Wellington classic. Found some words of inspiration from the city though, for all the Sweaty Bettys out there.

South Coast wander with one of my sponsors. Thanks Vashi!

Trying to remember how to rock climb with my good friend and fellow Sweaty Betty Kelly Buckle.
