Why I’m Sweating with Pride
I'm taking on Sweat with Pride this June! 💦🌈
I’m a certified personal trainer but I work full time in emergency services and part of my role is working specifically with Rainbow. My background in personal training has given me the mental and physical strength to push hard for our rainbow communities and I’ll be going EXTREME for one month. Especially for our trans whānau who hit a bit higher on the mental health stats. YOU ARE LOVED AND YOU EXIST!
So, I'm fighting discrimination with perspiration—exercising AT LEAST, 120 minutes every day in June to raise money for life-changing Rainbow support services. Most of my time spent exercising will be high intensity cardio/endurance so when I say extreme, I mean EXTREME. This will include riding all the bikes, boxing and daily walking of my two adorable greyhounds.
