I don't know what it is about the start of Sweat with Pride, but it seems to be the time my body most likes to interfere with my mental plans - namely, my back being a bit of a dick.

Why I’m Sweating with Pride
We're back... Sweating with Pride once more! 💦🌈
I'm fighting discrimination with perspiration—exercising 42 minutes every day in June to raise money for life-changing Rainbow support services.
Right now, schools, workplaces, and even doctors’ offices aren’t safe for many in our community—and it’s putting lives at risk. While the government follows Trumpian footsteps prioritising policies that further marginalise and harm our LGBTQIA+ whānau, this is one small way you and I can support access to services that are going to be crucial now more than ever.
While I'd love to say wrapping love around people is enough, it's not. Mental health services require funding, and we know already stretched services are going to see increased demand. Sweat with Pride is an awesome way to give a little and know you're making a difference (while also giving me a kick up the bum to get out there and do something that's good for me on the days my motivation is lower than a winning limbo bar). If you want to have your impact amplified, save your donations for dollar match days.
As a little extra bonus, I'm bringing back the challenges. If you donate $42 or more to my campaign, you can pick an activity or challenge for me to complete sometime during the month. Last year's included hilly walks, jumping in the freezing ocean, dancing by the motorway... What a bargain for a dollar per minute!
Disclaimer: Sticking to reasonable limitations, that means nothing requiring equipment I don't have access to, drastic cost or outside my physical ability (I'll give most things a go... but I don't guarantee it will be for a full 42 minutes!)
