Why I’m Sweating with Pride
I'm taking on (again!) Sweat with Pride this June! 🌈
So here we are for round 3 (ding ding ding!) of Sweat with Pride - this amazing opportunity to help my rainbow community!
The world seems to be taking a few steps backwards lately, it feels hate and ignorance is growing, that these terrible things are allowed and even worse encouraged so for me, this year, its more important than ever to show support however we can.
Right now, schools, workplaces, and even doctors’ offices aren’t safe for many in our community—and it’s putting lives at risk. LGBTQIA+ Kiwis face higher rates of mental illness and suicide.
This year I'm upping sweat and funding goal in my fight against discrimination with perspiration—exercising 60 minutes every day in June to raise money for life-changing Rainbow support services.
I’d be SO grateful if for any help to reach my goal, to help make even a small difference in 1 person's life.
