Why I’m Sweating with Pride
I'm taking on Sweat with Pride this June! 💦🌈
As Lewis Hamilton says, "Still I rise." This June, I’m rising—sweating, pushing, and showing up—for LGBTQIA+ Kiwis who face unsafe spaces and higher risks in schools, workplaces, and healthcare.
As Daniel Ricciardo put it, “It’s real sweat. I’m a high-performance athlete. Athletes sweat.” I’ll be exercising 21 minutes every day to raise money for Rainbow support services that save lives.
Sebastian Vettel once said, “There’s still a lot of work to do, but we must keep pushing.” That’s exactly why I’m doing this—because the fight for equality isn’t over, and every bit of effort counts.
Even Fernando Alonso gets it: “I’m not here to finish second.” I’m aiming high—and with your help, I know I can reach my fundraising goal.
