Walked the long way from the office to where I parked, clocking up my 21 minutes :)
This is my 2nd
year sweating
I’m sweating for life-changing Rainbow support services
Why I’m Sweating with Pride
The pushback against the LGBTQ+ community by bigots is disgusting and if you're not angry, you're not paying attention.
Now more than ever it's important that resources are available to help people stay safe and healthy.
It also doesn't hurt that I need to push myself to get fitter.
Please consider sponsoring me for June. I'm pledging 21 minutes of exercise every day. That's ten and a half hours in total. Which isn't a lot, but it is when you're mostly sedentary.
Let's show our LGBTQ+ friends, family, and even strangers that they're not alone and we care about them.

Back to the gym, this time using the proper amount of weight on the machines. Feels great! AND Morag co-operated with having her medication applied so wins for everyone!
Went to the Sci Fi Sundays showing of The Running Man (the original) at the observatory with my uncle. Was fun to see it on a big screen for the first time!
Then since the observatory is in the botanical gardens, thought I'd walk the long way back to my car to get my sweat in.
There are ZERO lights in the gardens. NONE. Not my best idea ever. Still nice to walk somewhere different!
Did a big one today, nearly an hour walking. Went from my house, down to Johnsonville, back up to Newlands, then home. Legs shaking, had to take a quick break at one point to sit at a bus stop for a minute. Feels good though!
Oh wow thank you so much to everyone who has donated! We've cleared the $300 I set as a goal. I've upped that now to $500! You're all amazing!
Repeated my walk from day one with an almost identical time. Will be interesting to see how long it takes for that to decrease!
My arms and legs are still sore from the gym yesterday so rather than going hard again, I went for another walk followed by some yoga stretches. Feeling a lot better now!
First day in my new role, finished up by going to the gym to do weight work. Arms and legs feel like they might fall off. Hell yeah :)
Left it to the last minute, but walked to the top of my hill and back. Legs are shaking a little and I'm sweaty as hell (mission success). Feels good!
