Why I’m Sweating with Pride
I will sweat for at least 60 minutes a day to get active and raise money for our Rainbow communities.
The funds raised go towards projects that provide essential physical, mental and sexual health services for RainbowNew Zealanders.
Some of the things I will be doing to Sweat:
❤️ Only taking the stairs at work (climbing 9 flights to get to my floor)
🧡Attending extra dance classes at Corps de Burlesque school of Seduction
💛 Hitting the gym for group fitness classes during the week at City Fitness
💚 Completing an evening cardio warmup and stretch each night and get myself back in the middle splits and over splits left &right!
💙 I will do 1x squat, 1 crunch and 1x push up per dollar raised. 33 per day + any extra if we go over the goal
💜 Taking opportunities to walk instead of drive
All of my exercise will be lodged through Sweat with Pride’s website
Every dollar raised will go to Burnett Foundation Aotearoa and fund projects in partnership with RainbowYOUTH, OutLine, and Tīwhanawhana to improve the mental and physical health of Rainbow communities in Aotearoa.
